REMBETIKO

Rembetiko belongs to Turks of Greek origin who once lived in Istanbul and Anatolia but migrated back to their homeland. Their music was their way of expressing how much they missed Turkey after their return. Rembetiko has always been important for the Armada Hotel, especially around the time of the "Apokries Carnival" when it’s performed here as it should be - by professional artists "Cafe Aman-style".
