ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

When the time has come to embrace, preserve and bring to life the values which represent authentic Istanbul lifestyle concering the beautiful seas surrounding the city, we've come to create the "Armada Boat.” In doing so, we naturally asked the question both to ourselves and of other Istanbul tour boats. "What were Istanbul’s old tour boats like in the past? What made them so special and what keeps them sought after, even today? If they were rightly preserved, what sort of tour boat would we see today?"

We rolled up our sleeves and thought in meticulous detail about what a "correct" tour boat where passengers could eat and drink while enjoying Istanbul’s beautiful waterways should be like, from the design and materials and every element of decor to the silverware and the ice buckets. Finally, production began at the SBO Yachting boatyard in Tuzla. The Armada Boat set sail in the summer of 2013 and continues to serve its passengers today, earning the admiration of everyone who sees it.
