When Mark Dubois, one of the founders, came to Turkey in 2002, the Armada helped to construct two giant, stylized Nahıl or "Wishing Trees", to be used at Earth Day celebrations in Mudanya along with the cooperation of ÇEKÜL, the Protection of Environmental and Cultural Heritage Association. Since then, Earth Day has been celebrated every year in the hotel on April 22nd and the news has been shared through Armada's periodic e-mails called "Armada Express." |
