ARCHITECTURAL & HISTORIC PRESERVATION

In 2014, the Armada Hotel restored an Art Deco-style building on its adjacent corner and made it part of its hotel services. This new, eight-roomed facility was named the "Armada Apartments".  It features a terrace on the top floor, as well as a small conservatory. Prior to its renovation, the building served as a passive backdrop for hanging posters and flags during various street festivals, thus it was never able to reach its real potential as an important architectural example of the Art Deco style. Now, it has come back to life.
